Ray of Light is the seventh studio album by American recording artist Madonna. It was released March 3, 1998, by Maverick Records. Madonna collaborated with William Orbit and Patrick Leonard for the album.


Madonna's learning of Kabbalah and the Hinduism religion and culture heavily impacted on the album, it was even included in songs like Shanti/Ashtangi and Sky Fits Heaven.
